ACE has strong partnerships with leaders in the architecture, construction, and engineering industries. Our partners assist in the development of curriculum, directly engage with students, and provide our students access to internships, on-site training, post-secondary education programs, and job opportunities.

Associated General Contractors

AGC-New Mexico Building Branch led the development of ACE Leadership High School, which aligns with AGC’s national education agenda and the Obama administration’s school reform initiative.

The unique public-private partnership with AGC and its powerful network of industry leaders creates vital mentorship support to students and unparalleled career opportunities for all ACE Leadership graduates. Through ACE Leadership High School, AGC and its members are investing in the future leaders of the construction profession.

Central New Mexico Community College

With this valued community educational partner, ACE students are taking dual-credit courses and are enrolled in a variety of programs offered on the CNM  campuses.  CNM is also a partner in offering a pre-apprenticeship program to ACE students in collaboration with the Associated General Contractors of New Mexico.

Dekker/Perich/Sabatini

Dekker/Perich/Sabatini (D/P/S) is an award-winning design firm with expertise in architecture, interiors, planning, structural engineering, and landscape architecture. D/P/S is a regional leader in design excellence and sustainability, with a 50-year portfolio of education, healthcare, commercial, civic and mixed use projects.

Eagle Rock School and Professional Development Center

Eagle Rock High School Professional Development Center is a critical partner for ACE Leadership. The organization is highly skilled at providing technical assistance to small high schools. Their work is focused on overall instructional and organizational leadership in addition to effective professional development and support for staff.  Eagle Rock has acts as a “critical friend” to ensure that the programs at the school and the development of its faculty is the highest caliber possible. The formal relationship with the Center began in July 2009 during the prototype session held in Albuquerque.

Jaynes Corporation

The Jaynes Companies is the parent company for three commercial construction companies located in four states throughout the Southwest.  Jaynes is a nationally respected regional general contractor with extensive construction experience in commercial, healthcare, retail, education, hospitality, warehouse and distribution, local, state and federal government buildings, multi-family, structural concrete and pre-engineered building projects.

Kubik Perspectives

Tim Kubik of Kubik Perspectives has provided consulting and worked with ACE Leadership High School to develop and support our project-based learning (PBL) curriculum model since the school’s founding.  Tim brings his expertise in professional development and curriculum and assessment design to his work with ACE Leadership to help teachers create learning experiences that reach students where they are, and gets them where they want to go.

Larry Myatt of Education Resources Consortium

Larry Myatt of Education Resources Consortium has had an ongoing consulting relationship with the ACE Leadership founders for the past 10 years. He is a nationally known expert in small school development with a particular expertise in creating options for students with high potential but limited opportunity to succeed. He has worked with the school to develop a support platform that ensures that high academic expectations are met with high levels of social and emotional support.

New Mexico Building Education Foundation

The Foundation is a 501c3 tax-exempt organization created for the purposes of gathering and disseminating resources for career and workforce development initiatives, for establishing and operating the AGC-NM Career Center and for leading the development of the AGC-NM infrastructure network.

SMPC Architects

SMPC Architects, a professional corporation established in 1944, is an architecture, planning, landscaping, and interior design firm providing services throughout the Southwest. SMPC has a record of successful service in a wide variety of building types, including healthcare, high-tech research and development, education/institutional, commercial, civic, and religious.

University of New Mexico

Through numerous programs and departments, ACE Leadership has developed a very rich partnership with the University of New Mexico.  ACE students are enrolled in dual-credit classes through the Engineering School, have been mentored by and traveled to China with members of the UNM Solar Decathlon Team from the Architecture and Engineering programs, and have participated in events with the Student AGC Chapter at UNM.   Such opportunities allow our students to experience aspects of college academics and broaden their educational foundation.
